India-born Sargam Kaushal was selected as Mrs. World on December 18, 2022, in Las Vegas. Mrs. Kaushal defeated rivals from 63 nations after 21 years to bring the crown back to India.

Sargam Koushal, 32, is described as a model, painter, and content writer on the Greater Kashmir website. She holds a master’s degree in English literature and a bachelor’s degree in education. Dad of Koushal used to work in banking. He had inspired her to pursue her aspirations, and she thanked him for that.
Koushal and her spouse, a Navy officer, reside in Mumbai. She declared that her marriage was the most “beautiful and satisfying” aspect of her life during the Mrs. India pageant. He heard her say, “I met a terrific man.” “We support each other as we develop and change. He has always supported me.
The Mrs. America competition gave birth to Mrs. World in 1984. “Mrs. Woman of the World” was the previous name of this event. Mrs. World wasn’t given a name until 1988.

More than 80 nations have hosted Mrs. World competitions over the years, but the United States has triumphed most frequently. India only took home the Mrs. World title once, in 2001. Actress Aditi Govitrikar received the significant title. Currently, Dr. Govitrikar serves as a judge for Mrs. India Inc. 2022–2023.
